Alysen Nesse brings a decade of public sector leadership to the HAL team. Most recently Alysen served as the Senior Government Relations Representative for the City of Minneapolis. Alysen led the City’s capital investment, economic and workforce development, housing, commercial development finance, transportation, and public finance issue portfolios at the state and federal levels. Alysen prides herself in being a part of building community centered coalitions and securing resources to address long standing systemic issues. Alysen holds a bachelor’s degree in political science and a master’s degree in urban public policy, she teaches neighborhood and community politics classes at Concordia University.
